ORPHAN SUPPORT

In rural Ethiopia orphanages do not exist. When a child becomes orphaned either a relative or friend of the family will take this child into their care. Often times this is a burden for an already impoverished family. With the help of our community workers in each village, they are able to identify and track each orphan. Engage Now provides a goat to each orphan. This allows the orphan to raise this goat and when kids are born the orphan will share them with other orphans in the village. As the animal multiplies, families can sell the goat at market for much needed income. The profit from these goats allows orphans to attend school, pays for medications and other essentials. This is a bountiful and enduring blessing. Engage Now currently supports and monitors 63 orphans.
